1. Set a Dedicated Gambling Budget

players use 30–50% above starting bankroll as their win target. When you hit it, stop playing
and withdraw your profits. Continuing to play after hitting a target is one of the most common

5. Accept Session Loss Limits
Equally important is a loss limit — typically 50–100% of your session bankroll. If you lose your
session amount, close the browser and step away. Chasing losses by making larger bets to recover
quickly is a pattern that reliably accelerates total bankroll depletion. Keep a simple log of your
sessions (date, game, start balance, end balance) — the data will give you an honest picture of
your actual win/loss record over time and help you identify any signs of problematic play early.
